Sensory Path

STOMP, JUMP or HOP down the Sensory Path at Notre Dame

Students also squat, skip, balance, spin, do pushups and crawl along the path to stay active, increasing their daily activity levels and increasing their overall sense of well-being. The Sensory Path is an inviting and colourful activity map on the floor of the school's main corridor, used by all students to increase daily activity levels, and by teachers as a preventative measure to reduce behaviour issues that might otherwise arise from students having difficulty regulating themselves to sit in class. In the end, the Sensory Path has turned out to be a fun way for everyone to get moving during the day and add a little hop, skip, and bounce into their step!
